Before we get to those, let’s talk about the reasons why you might want a schedule for your busy toddler. For example, my almost 2 year old is the busiest child I have ever met, and I don’t say that lightly. I’d know after working with children for roughly 7 years.
That being said, if you have a hyperactive child you are probably desperate to provide them with more structure. Additionally you want to give them opportunities to expend their energy in a constructive way. Or as mentioned above, you might have other children you are homeschooling. You feel pressure to provide your toddler with activities to keep them out of trouble. Or you want to make them feel more included. Maybe you just want to prepare your child for preschool so that it’s an easier adjustment for them when the time comes. Whatever your reason, I hope this schedule helps.
