WHO
Tori Richards, wife/ Airforce MILSO, and mom of 2 + 1 fur baby.
I was born and raised in the same city my entire life and never saw myself leaving, I even attended college there. I have been an active person for most of my life. Soccer was my passion growing up, I played the beautiful game for 13 years, and I would LOVE to attend a premier league game at least once in my life. I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to do with my life, but anything related to physical health was always in my top 2 choices. In 2021, I put my life on hold to care for my family and follow my husband on this crazy new adventure of military life. Now in 2023 I’m chasing my dreams and writing this blog to help moms like you fall in love with life, fitness, and yourselves again!
Cody Richards
Active-Duty U.S. Airforce. Avid Runner who just recently accomplished his goal of qualifying for the Boston marathon! He is the BIGGEST Oregon Ducks fan you will ever meet. Cody keeps up with almost every sport possible and could talk to anyone about any game. He is a big car and truck guy with more knowledge about cars than I could even imagine. The BEST dad and even better husband. The love of my life since we started dating at 17, so yes, we are high school sweethearts. I couldn’t imagine doing life with anyone else by my side.
Georgia
Our oldest daughter who is spunky, feisty, active, fun loving, and empathetic. She loves to RUN like her daddy and really loves chocolate like her mama.
Ruby
Our strong and sweet baby. She is tough as nails, but also the biggest lover around. Always happy and smiling, she makes friends easily, and she loves to give big tight bear hugs.

WHERE Sweet is the work was born
Sweet is the Work was started at home in Southern Utah (think Zion National Park), continued in North Dakota where I have the opportunity to create a home away from home for my family and help moms like you. Follow us wherever we go with the United States Airforce.
WHEN
Created on the cusp of 2022 and 2023 just 2 weeks after the birth of my second child and about 2 weeks before we PCSed (Moved) to our FDS (First Duty Station) in North Dakota in the middle of winter. Officially launched in the Summer of 2023 and continuing to grow each month.

The WHY behind Sweet is the Work
Sweet is the Work was born from a desire to help moms, and therefore families, get more joy out of life. Helping moms like you on this blog provides an opportunity to support my own family as well as yours, and nothing could bring me more excitement than that.
