Italian Salad Dressing Made in a Mason Jar
Ever wanted to know how to make an Italian salad dressing, but it feels like it’s going to be super complicated? Curious as to what is even in Italian dressing? Look no further, I’m here to share ingredients and show you just how easy making Italian dressing can be! All that is needed is one medium sized (16 oz.) mason jar.
A good Italian dressing is so versatile, you can use it for more than just salads. Drizzle it over a delicious little bruschetta or add some to a wrap or sandwich you made for lunch; the possibilities are endless. This one pairs especially well with most chicken and fruit.
To start with let’s go over the ingredients you will need.
Ingredients
Oil. Use any oil of preference. I tend to stick with olive oil or avocado oil.
Vinegar. Again, you can use your favorite one. My 2 favorite to make with this recipe are Apple cider vinegar and balsamic vinegar.
Dijon Mustard (Grey Poupon works best)
Salt
Italian seasoning

The zest from the mustard will get many compliments at parties. If you prefer a bit of a creamy Italian dressing, just add a little mayo and shake it all up again. One way I used it the other evening was with this salad that I made for dinner. Try it out and tell me what you think in the comments below!
